Search looks across everything the app has projected from your repository — fully offline, with no query ever leaving the device.

Type a task title, a task id, or just a word from the instructions — the hint text says exactly that: "Task title, id, or a word from the instructions."

Filters

Narrow results by type, year, term, module, status, competency, or resource provider when a search returns more than you want to scan.

Why it's instant

Search runs against the on-device projection (SQLite full-text search), not against Git or the network. That projection can always be rebuilt from your repository, so a search index that gets out of sync is a non-issue — it's a cache, not a second source of truth. If you work across more than one curriculum, search stays scoped to whichever one is currently active, so results from a different apprenticeship never bleed in.
