Reviewing submissions

The inbox
Each item in the review inbox shows the task, the apprentice, when it was submitted, whether required evidence is present, an optional AI pre-review summary, and how many revision rounds have already happened. Home also surfaces anything overdue or blocked so nothing sits unnoticed.
The review screen
On desktop, review opens as three panes side by side: Task requirements | Submission evidence | Mentor review. On mobile, the same information stacks. Either way, your actions are:
- •Approve
- •Request revision — a comment is required; tell the apprentice specifically what to change
- •Discuss
- •Add a follow-up task
- •Add a mentor note
- •Ask AI for review assistance — labeled AI suggestion — mentor approval required, and it never changes review state on its own
What gets written
A review becomes a durable file in your own personal folder — never mixed into the curriculum tree, never editing a file the apprentice owns. Commits follow a simple, readable convention, for example:

You can review anything already fetched with the network off. Approve or request a revision, and it pushes the next time you sync — there is no requirement to be online at the moment you make a decision.
